F.A.CUP SUNDERLAND 1 NOTTS COUNTY 2

League One Notts County scored a goal in each half as they knocked Premier League Sunderland out of the FA Cup.
Black Cats keeper Simon Mignolet was at fault for the opening goal, spilling a high cross from Craig Westcarr.
Mike Edwards narrowly missed and Mignolet denied Westcarr, but Lee Hughes doubled County's lead with a precise finish from a tight angle.
Darren Bent pulled a goal back from the penalty spot after Ricky Ravenhill fouled Andy Reid late in the match.
Sunderland were last defeated by lower division opposition when they lost 2-1 at League One Brentford in 2006 - and they can have few complaints after losing to Paul Ince's side on Saturday.
