Milan preparing move for Balotelli

Milan are leading the chase for Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli, and could use Alexandre Pato as a convincer.

Balotelli is reportedly unhappy with his time at Eastlands, though he did last week move to claim he was fine with life there.
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Balotelli, 20, is destined to join Milan in the near future, and Pato could be his proxy in Manchester.
The 21-year-old Brazilian striker will be offered as part of the deal by the Rossoneri.Edin Dzeko is on the verge of joining City from Wolfsburg, thus if Roberto Mancini didn't see Pato as a necessity, Milan would offer him to Chelsea, raise €30million, and then head back to Manchester to make a fresh bid for the Italian.
It's no secret Carlo Ancelotti admires Pato, and he could move in that direction should requirements at Stamford Bridge change.
Mino Raiola, Balotelli's agent, who brokered the City deal last summer, also has associations with Pato, meaning an agreement would not be hard to reach should the wind blow in that direction.
Furthermore, Balotelli has always said he wants to play for Milan to forge a striking partnership with his former Inter team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Italian international would also be playing alongside Antonio Cassano - his Azzurri partner up front
