Nottigham Forest sign Liverpool's Paul Konchesky

NOTTINGHAM Forest have signed Liverpool's Paul Konchesky on loan to address their left-back crisis before the transfer window slams shut.

The 29-year-old is expected to train with the rest of the squad today and could be drafted straight into the team that faces Coventry tomorrow.

Konchesky is believed to have cost Liverpool more than £3m when he joined from Fulham last summer.

But he has struggled to break into the side since former boss Roy Hodgson was replaced and looked unlikely to add to the 15 Premier League starts he had made this season, after new Anfield manager Kenny Dalglish took over.
