QPR players face a rap for using Twitter to threaten revenge on Blackburn bad-boy El-Hadji Diouf.

QPR players face a rap for using Twitter to threaten revenge on Blackburn bad-boy El-Hadji Diouf.
FA chiefs are discussing whether Senegalese forward Diouf should be charged for his four-letter rant at broken-leg victim Jamie Mackie.

But they are also likely to probe tweets made by Rangers team-mates Bradley Orr, Clint Hill and Paddy Kenny in the aftermath of Saturday's stormy FA Cup tie.

Diouf outraged QPR by standing over stricken Mackie shouting 'F*** you and f*** your leg' after the striker was injured in a challenge with Gael Givet.

Rangers boss Neil Warnock branded the former Liverpool man a 'sewer rat' after Blackburn's 1-0 win at Ewood Park.

But Mackie's team-mates went further, with Hill tweeting 'That c*** will get what's coming to him'.

Full-back Orr wrote: "You horrible disgusting man E H Diouf! Your time will come!" And keeper Kenny rapped: "That **** Diouf will get it one day, what goes around comes around."

The FA are likely to take a dim view after charging Liverpool's Ryan Babel with improper conduct for tweeting about referee Howard Webb following their defeat at Manchester United on Sunday.

Diouf, 29, seems likely to escape internal action at Blackburn because of the chaos behind the scenes following the club's recent takeover. But an FA insider indicated they could take action - even though the incident was not mentioned in ref Peter Walton's report.
The source said: "Discussions are going on but, as yet, no decision has been taken.

"He has said something to another player and if you charge him for that it sets a dangerous precedent.

"But it's clear from the reaction of Neil Warnock and QPR it must have been something quite serious."

Rovers defender Givet was also carried off on a stretcher.

And one of Diouf's team-mates said: "He was angered by Mackie's challenge. He thought it was dangerous and it could have easily been Givet with the broken leg."
