Fergie to call time on Berbatov

Manchester United top goal scorer last season Dimitar Berbatov seems to be edging closer to the Old Trafford Exit door with Paris St Germain set to make a £10million offer for the striker.Berbatov has had a mixed time at Manchester United since his £31m move from Tottenham in 2008.The Bulgarian international striker finished last season as joint top goal scorer in the Premier League netting 21 times for the Red Devils.
However Berbatov was dropped for key games during the campaign and most notably wasn't even included in the 18 man sqaud for the Champions League final against Barcelona. The 30-year-old finds himself down the pecking order at Old Trafford with Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez being Sir Alex Ferguson's preferred pairing up front.According to reports in the Daily Star, in recent months Berbatov has been linked with moves to Newcastle and back to Spurs, but it is believed PSG, who have been taken over by Qatar Investments are now the front runners for the Bulgarians signature. The Frecnh outfit are set to spend money during the summer transfer window and new boss Leonardo has highlighted the Manchester United striker as their marquee signing of the summer.

Last season Berbatov made 42 appearances in all competitions, most of which coming off the subs bench, and he managed to score 22 goals.
