Spurs midfielder Sandro is a target for Spanish side Villareal and speculation today suggests that he might be on his way to the La Liga outfit for a fee of £12 million.The Brazilian was hardly used by Harry Redknapp during the first half of last season after arriving at Spurs in an £8 million deal from Inter but he forced his way into the team after Christmas and impressed for Tottenham in the 26 games he played for the side.Last weekend it was being reported that the midfielder was a target for Real Madrid and that Spurs had put a price tag of £35 million on the 22-year-old, but reports today suggest that Villareal have already made contact with Sandro’s agents and are awaiting a green light from Spurs chairman Daniel Levy before talks can take place between the clubs.
Sandro is also a target for Italian side Roma.
