Owen Hargreaves Set For Manchester City
Ex-Man Utd star Owen Hargreaves has undergone a medical with Manchester City as he looks to finalise a free transfer to Eastlands.
The 30-year-old was pictured coming out of Bridgewater hospital in Manchester where he reportedly underwent a three-hour exam with City's staff.
Hargreaves is a free agent after his contract with United expired last season and he had been linked with moves to West Brom and Leicester after both clubs offered him deals.
Tottenham and Aston Villa were also thought to be interested but City look as though they will take a gamble on the England midfielder.
Roberto Mancini is keen to bring in one more midfielder before the transfer window closes and has seemingly failed in his attempts to lure Mark van Bommel away from AC Milan.
The signing of Hagreaves would represent a huge gamble given the injury-ravaged four years he endured at Old Trafford before his release.
