Inkoom reveals Liverpool talks

Ghanaian right-back Samuel Inkoom claims he is on the verge of completing a move to Liverpool from Ukraine outfit Dnipro. He claims his agent has been locked in talks with the Merseysiders and expects an official announcement to be made in the not-too-distance future. Inkoom would become the first Ghanaian to represent the Reds if he were to sign although there has been no official comment at this stage from the Anfield club. The former FC Basel defender has good experience on the international scene as well, having represented his country at the last World Cup and the African Nations Cup in Angola. He said: "Very soon a deal would be complete. My agent is still in talks with them. A scout of Liverpool came over some time back and that was how it started. A deal will soon be done. ''I cannot say what it will be exactly because nothing has been decided yet on whether I will join Liverpool on loan or move permanently. "Liverpool is big, one of the biggest names in football. So if everything goes well and God allows it, everyone will know where I am going. I hope it would be Liverpool."
