Inter to bid for Van Persie in January
Arsenal striker Robin van Persie could be about to have his head turned by interest from Italian giants Inter Milan.
The 28-year-old Gunners captain has yet to sign a new contract at the Emirates and has just 18 months left on his current deal.
Now, according to reports in Italy, Inter manager Claudio Ranieri wants van Persie to help solve his striking crisis at the club and could make a bid for him in the January transfer window.
Inter have had a terrible start to the Serie A season after picking up just two wins in their first nine matches, a run that sees them hovering just above the relegation zone.
Rumours surrounding the future of the Dutch international continue to reverberate around north London, with Arsene Wenger known to be keen to tie him down to a long-term deal, but as yet nothing has been agreed.
And with the exits of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri still fresh in the mind, Wenger will want all the uncertainty to be sorted as soon as possible.
Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Juventus are also thought to be keen on acquiring van Persie's services.
