Real Madrid are reportedly lining up a surprise swoop for Manchester United winger Nani.Nani, whose contract expires in 2014, has yet to agree a new deal Old Trafford, despite Manchester United’s desire to extend his stay at the club. And according to protransfers.ru, Real Madrid are poised to capitalise on Nani’s failure to agree a new contract by testing United’s resolve with a £19.7m offer for the 25-year-old.
The Spanish champions believe their proposal could be boosted by the fact that Nani’s agent Jorge Mendes also represents Cristiano Ronaldo and Bernabeu boss Jose Mourinho.
However, free-spending Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala are also interested in Nani, and they’ve earmarked the Portuguese winger as the latest high-profile target to join the club.
