Barcelona in bitter feud with Arsenal over Jon Miquel Toral Harper

Arsenal are at the centre of the fresh storm over claims they have snatched another Barcelona wonderkid. The Gunners are believed to be attempting to lure 16-year old Jon Miquel Toral Harper to the Emirates - a move that would mirror their controversial signing of Cesc Fabregas.
Arsenal have made their move as Spanish clubs are unable to tie players to professional contracts until they are 17
Midfielder Toral has an English mother and is understood to be keen on a move to London, that could cost Arsenal just £300,000.The battle of the highly-rated Spaniard peaked last week when Barca president Sandro Rosell confronted Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis over the deal.
Toral, whose agent is Per Guardiola - the brother of Barca boss Pep, is the latest in a long line of talented kids to emerge from Barcelona's famed academy.
Rosell is keen to avoid a repeat of the Fabregas deal which angered him during his spell as vice-president in 2003.Back then, Barca argued with former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein over their move before securing a first-refusal option on Fabregas.
Arsene Wenger was desperate to sign Fabregas but was prohibited from watching him play for Barcelona's youth team. But the Frenchman got around the problem by heading to Finland for the Under 17 World Cup in 2003, where Fabregas won the Golden Boot and player of the tournament gongs.Arsenal signed their future captain in September that year, paying just £700,000 in compensation after Barcelona complained to FIFA.
Toral, a goalscoring midfielder in the mould of Frank Lampard, could now find himself at the centre of another controversy.
