Fulham on alert as Freiburg prepare to sell striker

Premier League clubs are already lining up summer bids for Freiburg hotshot Papiss Demba Cisse after the Bundesliga club admitted defeat in their attempt to hold on to him.
One Premier League club, understood to be Fulham, made contact with Freiburg in January about doing a deal for Cisse - but his club dismissed all enquiries.
But Cisse's agent Guido Nickolay has revealed that Freiburg have now named their price for the £12.5m-rated striker, who has hit 15 goals in 19 Bundesliga appearances this season.

"Freiburg do not want to sell but they are a smaller club and will sell at the right price," Nickolay said.
"They know the figure they want for him - but I cannot say it. They are ready to do business in the summer. But it isn't just Premier League clubs who want him - there are other clubs in Italy and Spain too.
"There was interest from the Premier League in January but Freiburg made sure they kept him until the end of the season. There will be more, but now it won't be until the summer."
