Solskjaer Targerted as Bruce's Replacement
Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is being lined up to replace Steve Bruce who was today sacked by Sunderland. The 38-year-old is currently managing his old club Molde in the Norwegian Premier League after a successful spell in charge of the Manchester United reserves, he went on to win the Norwegian championship in his first season in charge and has been labeled a Norwegian Pep Guardiola and Sunderland could pounce.
Its thought that the Sunderland board are keen to appoint a younger manager who could build his own squad with financial backing though it is not known if Solskjaer would be willing to leave Norway.
