Senegal sharpshooter Moussa Sow could be on his way to Arsenal after he and Lille failed to reach an agreement on a contract extension. The 25-year-old striker has been in good nick this season in the French league, scoring eight times in 19 appearances, but he’s failed to hit the target with Lille as far as a new deal is concerned.
Asked by French broadcaster RMC Sports where his future lay, Sow couldn’t have made it more obvious: “My dream is to play in the Premier League because you progress as a player... I desire to play there one day. Arsenal are a big club.”
Arsenal were first linked with Sow in the summer but with Lille having sold the Gunners Gervinho they were unwilling to part with another of their star names. Now it appears that Sow has seen what a success his former team-mate has made of his move to the Emirates and wants to follow in his footsteps asap.
