Arsene Wenger has joined the race for Fulham star Clint Dempsey but faces a battle to land him over the summer.
Both Everton and Liverpool are also keen on the American international who has had an excellent campaign for Fulham this season with a record 23 goals for the club and that has led to interest from across the Premier League.
Wenger is looking to add to his squad this summer after a mixed season for the Gunners and Dempsey would strengthen his squad.. Fulham manager Martin Jol insisted that his star player is not for sale and wants to keep his best players to improve Fulham but Demsey only has a year left on his current deal and as yet has shown no signs of signing a new one.
