Premiership newcomers Southampton have had a £7m bid accepted for Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez.Southampton chairman Nicola Cortese will thrash out personal terms with the 22-year-old striker's representatives.The player is believed to be out of the Country at the moment.England Under 21 forward Rodriguez was being chased by a host of clubs including Cardiff and West Ham but Southampton are in pole position for his signature.After the 2011/12 season Rodriguez finished as Burnley's outright leading scorer with 21 goals and the winner of the club's Players' Player of the Year award.
